NEWS Local Cookie will be a vendor at the ROCK THE BABY EVENT on Sunday May 20th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Carrboro Town Commons. This is a non-profit event to support the La Leche League's local chapter and open to the public. The afternoon promises to be full with music, crafts, and a mix of family friendly vendors. Local Cookie offerings will include our Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Rainbow Sprinkle Cookies, Chewy Granola Bars, Lime Bars and a variety of our Shortbread Cookie Stacks all available for purchase.

REDUCED SUMMER HOURS We will not be taking Special Orders during the months of June, July and August in 2012. Our products will continue to be available at all listed retail locations and we look forward to baking your special order treats this Fall.

About Local Cookie

Local Cookie began with our love for baking and was established as a business in 2010. We are a small artisian operation consisting of baker Elizabeth Pyle and her eager family of taste testers (including her husband and young twins). Our cookies are made with care in our home kitchen and are made using only high quality, fresh ingredients, often seasonal and locally produced. 

Our goal is to provide homemade baked goods to the local community. We deliver to local cafes and stores Monday through Friday, where you can find a variety of scones, muffins and sweet breads plus many of our speciality cookies.  

Local Cookie's vision is to increase your joy by satisfying the senses through the use of unique ingredients in each and every cookie.

Our dream is to take you back to the simple pleasure of enjoying fresh home baked cookies straight from your family's kitchen.

Local Cookie is a home-based business producing low-risk from scratch baked goods. Our kitchen is inspected and regulated by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. All our products are always nut free, yet because they are produced on equipment which may have been exposed to trace ingredients, we are not certified nut free.
